Prior to opting for semi-retirement, she was the senior technical writer, Optical Division, at PMC-Sierra where she wrote and edited engineering documents, technical overviews, white papers and application notes to ISO-2000 standards. As a contract editor for twenty-five years, she worked on business plans, training manuals, software user guides, corporate collateral, television and movie scripts, industry research papers and royal commission reports. She is comfortable with a wide variety of document forms and is quick to grasp unfamiliar content.
